Our five tool building facilities are equipped with the latest in machine technology. The CNC machining centers, Lathes, Wire and EDM machines fabricate tool components to exact tolerances quickly and efficiently.
Once the molds are complete, Plastek can also provide sampling and qualification services in a manufacturing environment.
We provide full 1st Article inspection with dimensional analysis, contact and non-contact and destructive and non-destructive inspection. Plastek is committed to producing zero defects. The quality of any part depends on the quality of the material used. Every lot of resin delivered to Plastek is put through a comprehensive series of tests in our onsite materials lab before we accept it for production. This includes ASTM standard test methods such as melt flow, tensile and density tests. In addition, we perform other product specific tests developed by Plastek Quality Engineering for such things as moisture content and color leaching.

Triangle Tool Division was founded in 1956. Based in Erie, Pennsylvania, Triangle Tool quickly became a leader in mold design and manufacturing. They developed many of the standards and practices that are used in the tool industry today.
Penn Erie Division was established over 50 years ago. Its 34 employees demonstrate expertise in the building of plastic injection molds, compression molds, injection blow molds, rubber molds, die cast dies, punch dies, small and large production runs for C.N.C. turning centers and C.N.C. milling centers with laser digitizing capacities. Our state of the art equipment is housed in a 31,000 sq. ft., climate controlled facility equipped with (2) 5-ton cranes.
Brazil Division was founded in 2000 as part of the Manufacturing Plant located in Indaiatuba, Sao Paolo. Having the latest equipments and around 31 professionals highly trained and capacitated in our Headquarter, in the building of plastic molds, they produce molds following the best qualities guidelines that bring perfection on every detail from the Project phase until the final production.

Each of Plastek’s molding facilities has a dedicated tool repair area for preventive maintenance, mold changes, part changes and minor repairs. Advanced dry ice blast cleaning is used to reduce downtime and maintain contaminant-free work areas.
